This shoot brought us back to our childhood–we went shopping for pin wheels and sand shovels and beach balls and bottles and ties! All for less than 500 pesos! I think we did well with our nautical theme. I think.

It was a very hot day. The sun was in full blast and no sun block can stop it! I should have brought my hoodie jacket with me. So we ended up “tanned”, -1 exposure. Haha!

Playa Azalea gave us all we need. The place was perfect for the theme. They have their own jetty, a speed boat, beach shore, an infity pool, a hill top! I could do so much with our location!

It was fun working with young couple Anne and Ian. No frills. Best wishes to you two!

Pat invited us to visit cake shops in Davao to conduct a cake review…a.k.a. spying. Haha!

Here are some cakes from Margie’s and Cake Galerie, we also went to Sugarmunch. My personal favorite are Margie’s cupcakes–not  too sweet and their cream cheese frosting is delicious!

I shall never eat cake ever again after having tasted 6 cakes that afternoon!

March 3-4, 2012 | General Santos City

Month old photos. Better late than later! Hahaha!

This trip was a bit spontaneous. Cris and I were supposed to deliver a coffee table book to a client in GenSan, just the two of us–but we thought, it’ll be more fun to travel with friends…so we invited our badminton buddies and had a fun road trip to Precious’ City. Tada!

Aboard Pat’s car, we left Davao at around 11:00 AM. We dropped by Boracacay, Sta. Cruz for lunch. It’s a restaurant beside the beach!

Here is the aftermath of our lunch. Look, there’s my Zen Tea!

We hit the road right after lunch and traveled for more than 2 hours–a series of crazy moments and snoozing and music tripping happened during those hours. It was raining hard when we were entering GenSan.

Here’s a photo beside Robinsons Place’s parking space. There we had snacks and watched a movie. Yes, we went all the way to GenSan to watch a movie! Blame the rain!  :\

Later that day, we went get some liquor from the supermarket and head to a cozy hometel. That night was filled with laughter! I laughed too hard I had abdominal cramps! It was the guessing game’s fault! Lol!

The day after, we went to visit Precious who was admitted after being diagnosed with Amoebiasis. Poor friend–she was supposed to tour us around the City. :\

From the hospital, we head straight to Sarangani Highlands for lunch!

Spirale’s dessert slices are fine and tasty. Their prices range from Php 90 – Php 130–not bad. Got to try all of  them!

This is the coffee table book I made for Mac & Yeng’s wedding–it got printed last Tuesday and Cris delivered it the morning after.

I got this strange habit of staring at my works over and over again–it gives me a little sense of accomplishment. So before handing it over to our client, I browsed the book three times! Lol. One of the beautifully laid out books I made–it is warm and clean and contemporary.

I haven’t heard from our clients, I hope they like it too…:)
